How it Works
- The Employer purchases a high deductible health plan (HDHP) that significantly reduces their insurance premiums. See Exhibit A.
- The Employees maintain their current benefit levels.
- The Employer self-funds (subsidizes) the employees' deductible only when utilization (surgeries, lab work, hospitalization) occurs.
- Our Third Party Administrator (T.P.A.), AMERAPLAN, administers the plan on behalf of the employer.
