AmeraPlan will guide you to a vendor at no additional
cost that will take the WORRY out of your COBRA administration
responsibilities. The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation
Act of 1985 (COBRA) requires employers with 20 or more employees
(full and/or part-time) to offer continuation of health benefits
to employees and their dependents. Employers had to bear full
responsibility for compliance with COBRA laws, but the burden
of COBRA no longer has to be all yours. AmeraPlan's preferred
vendor offers a full COBRA administration program that helps
you comply with current COBRA/HIPAA requirements.
AmeraPlan's vendor will assist you with notifications,
premium collection and remittance, reports, documentation
